Music How Old Are You  Term Paper

All the places we hung out at had jukeboxes. I don't remember ever going to concerts when I was a kid, but on television they would have like big western hayrides that were really popular. The concerts they had back then did not include such things as mosh pits. Like I said before, the biggest sin you could commit back then was smoking, and drinking was unheard of.

The values have changed so much that sometimes I just get sick thinking about it. I guess I shouldn't generalize, but it sure seems that way to me. Along with the technological progression, has come such things as pornography and those kinds of things, everything nowadays is so accessible.

When did the music start to change? I really did not notice any changes until the late 60's, Woodstock era was a dramatic change, especially with the hippies and all that backwards nonsense....

That's when I noticed that the music really started going down hill.

It wasn't just the music either, it was our lifestyle. I did not even drive until I was twenty six. There was no reason to.

When I did start driving I always made sure that I had a good radio in the car that I would listen to. The oldies back then were my songs.

I'm glad I was alive during that era, the music was phenomenal and I was actually able to sing along with the words, nothing at all like today's music. It was great
